Kayak-ing in Akademi Laut Malaysia Vol. 2

Greetings, ladies and gentleman. This entry is the second volume of me kayak-ing in Akademi Laut Malaysia (ALAM) dated on Sept 2017. I always dreamed of reaching a place where others wouldn't even think of. So I had some in my mind but, this time using the waters (kayak). As usual, I got class on that day which started at 0800 hrs until 1700 hrs. As soon as that last class ended, I geared up then went to the boathouse as soon as possible. I was accompanied by one of my colleagues, Fiqree.

He was my batch mates yet he completed his practical year early and went one semester ahead of me. As we were eager for our plan, the weather was on our side and the waves/currents is not rough. As we arrived there, some of our juniors were having kayak session with another colleagues of mine.

Then after me and Fiqree set up our kayak, we are ready to go! We started around 1800 hrs to reach the beacon (a beacon is an intentionally conspicuous device designed to attract attention to a specific location) which is 4-5 km (8-10 nautical miles) and usually for an active kayak members would take 30 mins to reach depending on the weather and sea.

So we reach there at 1830 hrs and of course, we have our photo sessions.

After done photo-ing, we alongside at the beacon and have a short break and started kayak-ing back from the beacon at 1845 hrs until 1715 hrs to reach the boat house. We have a splendid evening on that day as we accomplished our plan!

P/s here's a short video clip of us at the beacon.

This sums up my post, and thank you for your attention, I am grateful.

Have a nice day.
