The first thing we did after leaving the hotel was finding breakfast.Since we were in Punjab a state in India we have to eat local breakfast but for us it wasn't a problem to have the breakfast since we have Punjabi blood running in our vein...;).Remember in Punjab the food capacity is unlimited,so be prepare to receive lots of food.

My aloo Paratha in making |
A heavy breakfast was compulsory because we were travelling alot,so we required alot of energy but 2 aloo paratha and a cup of tea is good enough to keep us going. After breakfast we walk to
Jallianwala Bagh.Jallianwala Bagh is a historical place where Colonel Reginald Dyer blocked the entry and locked the exit and gave to his troop to fire bullets on the crowd for ten minutes taking away many innocent lives.

After seeing Jallianwala Bagh we travel to many places not to forget we visit the Golden Temple too.The season we went in was the beginning of the hot season. So don't forget to bring along a water bottle with you if you wish to travel during this time of the season.

Original Sweet&Cold Lassi as a refreshment. |
The last place we visit before calling it a day was the Wagah Border. This is the border between India and Pakistan. They have a closing ceremony of the border gate and also the lowering of the flags between the two country. This ceremony happens everyday an hours or so before sunset, but we were there around 4PM local time just to get a seat.We have to wait until 6PM just to see the ceremony. It was a good experience to see how both country cooperate during the ceremony.
